Wow it's still hard for me to believe that "Hook" has passed on. He was one of my best friends from when we were in the third grade at Wish school. I lived on Earle St. (Anthony Brown & Lucky Young were my neighbors) & "Hook" lived in Stowe Village. When my family moved to Bowles Park (we moved to Salisbury St. right before my senior year) we lost contact, until he moved to West Euclid St. It was on again!! From throwing snowballs, summer jobs, going to parties at Weaver, being late for Sunday School at Blue Hills Baptist Church, but being on time for the B.Y.F. fellowships (parties) that would occur every Sunday at 7PM, trying to get in Eddie's Barbershop to get a shape up from Woody before it was too late in the morning, cutting class & going to Jeanette's Kitchen, drooling over the Blye knit shirts at Saltz Style Shop then meeting at the back door afterwards (lol), or going to Delancey Street to purchase the "knockoff" version, buying our first cars together, even working at Aetna together. The times when Anthony would hang out with us were always eventful! That's not even mentioning when Myron would be on break from T.S.U. & would come home for a week or so. If you saw "Hook", I was close by & vice versa. I think my proudest moment of our friendship is when he made me godfather to his son Brandon. I was blessed & honored to have him as a friend.
