Patricia Ann Gant, 63, of Bloomfield, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 29, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford. Born in Savanah, Georgia, the daughter of Willie Florence (King) Gant of Hartford and the late James Homer Gant, she lived most of her life in Hartford and Bloomfield. She was employed by Kimberly Hall in Windsor for over 30 years. Patricia enjoyed reading, shopping and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her mother, Patricia is survived by her two grandsons, Qiydaar Graham, and Quaron Shorter both of Bloomfield; a great grandson, Shamelle Shorter; four siblings, Mary Ferguson of Bloomfield, James Gant of Hartford, Willie Pearl Dukes and her husband Nathaniel of Bloomfield, and Derek Green and his wife Julie of South Windsor; her best friend Crystal Bell of Hartford; her dog Poo Poo, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her daughter, Adria Gant; two sisters, Onita Chambers, and Helen Green; her brother, Larry Gant; her step-father, James ""Jimmy"" Green, and her brother-in-law, Delroy Ferguson. Her family will receive friends for calling hours on Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 10 – 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Avenue, Windsor.
